EtherCon® ruggedized RJ45 connectors provide solutions for data transfer in harsh demanding environments by offering a cable carrier and receptacle that helps to protect the contacts of the RJ45 connections. Designed to protect the fragile latch and cover of standard RJ45 connectors from breakage, you will find uses for this connector system in Ethernet networking of audio, commercial, entertainment, stage production, DMX lighting, industrial and outdoor Internet access applications. 
   
The cable end offers a robust diecast shell as a carrier for pre-assembled RJ45 plugs. Female chassis connectors are based on the current Neutrik 'A' series as well the 'D' series of XLR receptacles with secure latching system - a feature not found on other RJ45 receptacles. Outdoor Rated Cat5e patch cables are manufactured with high quality UV (Ultra Violet) resistant PVC cable. With an Operating Temperature range of -40C to +60C (-40F to +140F), this cable handles a wide range of weather conditions, most importantly, the degrading effects of Ultra Violet rays. Booted connectors provide a secure connection every time. Cables meet EIA/TIA 568-B.2, and are UL verified to Category 5e.
