This Uni-directional, Yagi style antenna is intended for long range applications ranging from 15-60 miles from the transmitters. Its 43 elements create a powerful 15.7 dB gain with a front to back ratio of 27dB.

Although the DB2 was originally designed for outdoor use, it has quickly become one of our most popular indoor antennas due to its small size and extraordinary gain. The bowtie design provides strong gain across the entire UHF spectrum and it functions incredibly well in areas where a low profile antenna is required. DB8 Multidirectional HDTV Antenna

Intended for people at great distances from the transmitters, the DB8 is our most powerful multi-directional HD antenna. In fact, its 15.8 dB gain make it one of the most powerful multi-directional antennas available.

The bow tie design of the DB8 uses triangular elements instead of rods to greatly increase the bandwidth allowing it to cover the entire UHF band.   Additionally, the mesh reflector of the bowtie is more efficient than a rod reflector, is lower in weight, and provides less wind resistance for greater performance and durability.

This DB8 is the ideal antenna for use in locations that can pull long range signals from various directions and offers an attractive alternative to using a directional antenna mounted on a rotator.

The Lacrosse

Engineers have long stated that the uglier the antenna the better it will perform. But as high-definition television (HDTV) becomes more popular, demand is growing for HDTV antennas that blend into the design of the home while still reliably locking into the HDTV signals. The new Lacrosse HDTV antenna was designed to address this demand.

Based upon remote sensing technology, previously only available to the military, the Lacrosse is the first HDTV antenna to employ state of the art signal reception capabilities with a revolutionary design that will complement even the most discerning homeowner.

Available in both an amplified and non-amplified versions, the Lacrosse has an approximate gain of 10.8 dB. The amplified version includes an ultra-low noise 17 dB amplifier. SR8 Indoor Antenna

The SR8 is a directional antenna ideal for use in strong signal areas where multi-path distortion is an issue.   It is short range antenna that functions well when it is used within 15 miles of the transmitters.  For best results, place the antenna as high as possible and point towards the transmitter towers whose signals you want to capture.

UHF / VHF Antennas

Although the vast majority of high definition programming is broadcast on UHF bands, approximately 9% of the total digital TV stations in the United States utilize the VHF band.  This presents obvious problems for those people in locations that need to receive signals transmitted in both UHF and VHF.

For the most part, all TV antennas are designed to focus on one frequency or the other so it is not uncommon that people will use two different antennas.  However, this is not always necessary.

Most of our UHF Antennas will pick up high VHF stations like channels 7-13 depending on your distance from the transmitters and a few other variables.

Likewise, our VHF Antennas will pick up most UHF stations (channels 14-69) with the major limitation being that they are directional in nature.  So, if the transmitter towers you are targeting are not clustered in a certain area, you may experience problems.

For the most part, all of our antennas can function as UHF/VHF antennas, but their success may be limited especially if you are trying to get channels on the very low end of VHF (channels 2-6).  If one antenna cannot pick up all of the signals you want, you can consider mounting a VHF antenna on a rotator to point in the direction of the relevant transmitter towers or utilize both a VHF and UHF antennas with a switch box or antenna combiner.
